Mandatory requirements: PhD in Pulmonology or Physiotherapy; experience with percutaneous electrical phrenic nerve stimulation; clinical experience in intensive care, including the management of patients receiving invasive mechanical ventilation; experience with respiratory muscle ultrasonography; experience with esophageal and gastric balloon catheters; experience in monitoring diaphragmatic electrical activity using a NAVA catheter (EAdi); and experience in managing and organizing clinical research databases and using R software.
Desirable requirements: Experience in weaning patients from mechanical ventilation, particularly in cases of difficult or prolonged weaning; previous involvement in clinical research conducted in intensive care units, including clinical trials, observational studies, or institutional protocols; and knowledge of magnetic phrenic nerve stimulation.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality.
