Data Analyst
Position Summary
To develop and implement scalable data and AI infrastructure that supports AI-empowered public health research and advances the translational mission of the TRAIL4Health initiative. In addition, to provide operational and programmatic coordination that ensures the effective day-to-day functioning of TRAIL4Health.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations of the TRAIL4Health initiative, including website maintaince, communications, and assisting the organization of seminars, workshops, training sessions, and research events, including speaker coordination, materials preparation, and on-site support. 30 %
- Support scalable data and AI infrastructure building for public health and biomedical research initiatives within TRAIL4Health. 35%
- Collaborate with faculty investigators and research teams to translate scientific questions into reproducible analytic pipelines and computational workflows. 30 %
- Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested 5 %
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience developing or supporting data and AI infrastructure in academic, healthcare, or research environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based computing environments (e.g., AWS) and secure data management practices.
- Experience supporting grant-funded research projects and contributing to manuscripts or technical reports.
- Experience coordinating academic programs, research initiatives, seminars, or training events.
- Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary research environments.
