Your next career opportunity
As a Data and Reporting Analyst in the Executive Directorate of Student and Scholarly Services, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing effective reporting frameworks. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various University stakeholders to analyse data, provide insightful recommendations, and ensure compliance with national student regulatory frameworks. Your work will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely information, supporting decision-making and enhancing student services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and Refine Reporting Frameworks: Establish and continuously improve measures, metrics, and procedures to support internal monitoring and external regulatory obligations.
- Extract and Transform Data: Utilise tools to extract data from University systems, ensuring it is suitable for analysis and meets quality standards.
- Analyse Data and Provide Insights: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse data outcomes, identify trends, and develop business insights for senior management.
- Prepare High-Quality Reports: Create comprehensive reports using various formats, including written, visual, and presentations, tailored for different audiences.
You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced data professional with strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality insights and reports in a dynamic University environment. If you have experience in Higher Education, this will be a bonus.
You may also:
- Possess graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Have advanced Excel and data modelling skills, with experience in AWS, SQL, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to manage work effectively.
- Have experience in stakeholder management, building networks, and liaising with diverse contacts.
- Exhibit service excellence, striving to deliver beyond expectations and collaborating with colleagues.
