Job Description

• Responsible for general administration, coordination and support to the Research Supply Store and Central Procurement which includes but not limited to the following:
• Responsible for the inventories management in the supply store, including quarterly stock monitoring.
• Perform and submit quarterly chargeback to Finance for purchases from the Inventory and Self-Checkout System.
• Process delivery orders/invoice and ensure all documentations are submitted timely so as to provide efficient payment to suppliers.
• Assist to manage the supply store’s stocking of inventories and stock checks.
• Liaise with vendors on purchase and delivery of supply store items.
• Prepare standard operating procedures and instructional workflows of the supply store, as well as train staff where applicable.
• Perform rotational shift front counter duties to receive deliveries and handle enquiries.
• Perform other duties incidental to the work described therein or as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in biomedical sciences with minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience in a biomedical setting.
• Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant work experience may also be considered.
• Prior work experience in a research/academic environment with experience in procurement and knowledge of procurement software would be an advantage.
• Meticulous, well-organised and able to multi-task.
• Have good interpersonal skills and able to work well in teams.
• Proficient in general software applications that facilitate work operations such as Microsoft Office programmes.
