Dawley Chair of Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise (Full Professor)

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will join The Citadel's Tommy & Victoria Baker School of Business, within the Management and Entrepreneurship Department, as the inaugural Harry F. Dawley, '55 Professor of Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise.

Position Description: This full-time, endowed chair position focuses on teaching and research in entrepreneurship, preferably in areas like entrepreneurship and technology/innovation management. The position is at the full professor level and includes teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in management and new ventures. The professor must maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic status, advance the field through significant scholarship, and perform other duties as per institutional policies. An annual report to the Citadel Foundation is required.

Candidate Qualifications: A PhD or DBA in Entrepreneurship or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution; effective teaching experience in relevant courses; willingness to teach in various management areas; ability to produce research for AACSB standards; and experience in student engagement and institutional service.

Job Responsibilities: Teach management courses at undergraduate and MBA levels using in-person, online, and hybrid modes; contribute to curriculum development; maintain scholarly status; advise students; and participate in institutional service and assessments.
