Dean, Academic Services (Nursing & Allied Health/Director of Nursing Programs)

Sequoias Community College District serves a diverse community of learners and is a designated Hispanic Serving Institution. Under the direction of the Vice President, Academic Services, the Academic Dean (Nursing and Allied Health)/Director of Nursing Programs provides leadership, direction, and administrative oversight for the Nursing and Allied Health programs across the District.

Job Duties

In the Role of Academic Dean of Nursing and Allied Health: Provide leadership and administrative direction for Nursing and Allied Health programs. Develop and manage the instructional class schedule. Ensure effective academic services support. Lead program review and continuous improvement processes. Develop and administer division budgets.

In the role of Director of Nursing Program: Serve as the registered nurse administrator with full authority and responsibility for the nursing program in accordance with California Board of Registered Nursing regulations. Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies, including BRN, ACEN, and Title 5 requirements.
