As a member of the Academic Affairs leadership team, the Dean plays a central role in advancing the college's strategic priorities. The position provides leadership for faculty recruitment, development, evaluation, curriculum and program quality, assessment of student learning, program review, budgeting, and resource stewardship while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and district policies. Working in close partnership with department chairs, faculty, staff, Student Affairs, and community and industry partners, the Dean helps create high-quality educational experiences that promote student access, persistence, completion, transfer, and workforce success.
