About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as Dean of our Medical School. The Dean will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of medical education, research, and clinical practice within our institution. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong academic background, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all academic, administrative, and financial aspects of the Medical School. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to enhance educational programs, research initiatives, and clinical services. Promote faculty development and support recruitment, retention, and mentoring of high-quality staff.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and maintain the highest standards of medical education and research.
• Build partnerships with healthcare providers, industry, and government to advance the school’s mission.
• Represent the Medical School within the university and to external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with advanced qualifications (e.g., PhD, MPH) preferred.
• Significant experience in academic medicine, including leadership roles.
• Strong track record of research and publication.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex organizations and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills.
