Samford University invites applications and nominations for the next Dean of the School of Public Health.

Samford University is a national, comprehensive, residential, Christ-centered university located in Homewood, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham. The Dean of the School of Public Health serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of the School and reports directly to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Founded to prepare health professionals who integrate academic excellence with Christian commitment, the School of Public Health offers programs across several disciplines, including public health, healthcare administration and informatics, social work, nutrition and dietetics, and related fields. As part of Samford's College of Health Sciences, the School provides interprofessional opportunities that equip graduates to address the complex health challenges of communities near and far. The next Dean will join a university with strong enrollment momentum, a modern health sciences complex, and a reputation for excellence in teaching and student engagement.
