Job description
The Department of Education and Student Affairs (O&S) of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is involved in both the organization of education and the assurance of the quality of education and the support of teachers and students. Good education, but also a pleasant environment, are important pillars that our department pays attention to.

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and proactive colleague who will work with us to realize our educational ambitions. Based on your expertise in educational science and testing, you will help shape, among other things, the testing policy and you will actively work on implementing and evaluating it. You will advise teachers on content, for example, improving learning objectives and setting up test matrices. You will also keep an eye on relevant social developments that have an impact on education.
There is also room for project work, independently and together with colleagues from the education development team you look at new forms of education, (interactive) educational tools and teaching methods.
In addition, you assist the education directors, the Director of Education and the Head of Education, who together form the Education Management Team (EMT), in analyzing bottlenecks within education programs. You take an active role in this and, for example, advise on curriculum revisions.
What is certain is that you combine substantive, policy and executive work. And that you work in a committed team of colleagues within the department of education and student affairs of the faculty. Job requirements
- You have a master's degree in educational science.
- You have experience with advising within assessment or you have completed an SKE, module, internship or MSc track in assessment.
- You have experience working in a university or HBO environment in a similar position, and you have a good feeling for administrative relationships.
- Experience in drafting and implementing educational policy.
- You are a connector who knows how to achieve results proactively. You can deal well with people with different characters and diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
- You are an excellent analytical expert, you act decisively and you take responsibility.
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills, in Dutch and English.

Working conditions
- The employment contract is for 1 year. Temporary with the prospect of permanent employment.
- A job scope of 32-38 hours per week.
- A salary based on Scale 10 of the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities with a salary between €3,345 - €5,278 gross per month based on a full working week (38 hours), plus 8% holiday pay and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
