Job Summary
The duties include assisting dental students, residents, and faculty in patient treatment for various dental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Chair Side Assistance: Assist with patient treatment, participate in 4-handed dentistry, manage instruments, and follow infection control protocols.
- Instruments & Instruction: Operate dental x-ray equipment, maintain supplies, and ensure operatory cleanliness.
- Other Duties: Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with one year of related experience, or Certified Dental Assistant with an associate's degree or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from a certified Dental Assisting program with 3 years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge: Of oral structures, tooth anatomy, dental instruments, and 4-handed dentistry.
- Skills: Flexibility and adaptability.
- Abilities: Maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, and assist in various procedures.
