Job Summary

The dental dispensary technician at IU School of Dentistry provides clinical support with a focus on ensuring students, faculty, and clinics have the supplies, instruments, and equipment they need for patient care and teaching.

General Responsibilities

• Dispenses clinic supplies, materials, and instruments for all patient care activity and preclinical activity.
• Prepares various packages and kits for distribution, and ensures tracking of assets.
• Ensures proper utilization and compliance with clinic equipment loan policies and procedures.
• Takes inventory of instruments and maintains inventory level and records. Identifies and replaces instruments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
