Department of Social Science - Executive Officer (Ref: EO (SSC) 2026-07-31)
Responsibilities
- provide support for programme administration and secretarial support for the postgraduate programme and the department;
- assist in the planning and execution of programme-related activities, including admission exercises, promotion and publicity, assessments and student activities;
- facilitate the implementation of department-related activities, including seminars, workshops, and conferences; and
- handle enquiries and liaise with various stakeholders.
Applicants Should
- possess a recognised bachelor’s degree and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the education sector;
- be proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing and management skills in major social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, and WeChat) and website maintenance;
- possess good interpersonal and communication skills;
- have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and
- be a fast learner, a good team player and able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
Work experience in the higher education sector will be an advantage.
