Dermatologist, Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, Dermatology

Stony Brook Medicine Department of Dermatology is currently recruiting a Dermatologist for both a part-time and full-time faculty position at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor level. Candidate must be an outstanding clinician and teacher.

Candidate must possess a strong commitment to academic dermatology with an interest, skill, and desire to teach and participate in the training of medical students and residents. This position requires the physician to conduct dermatology clinical sessions, teach, participate in continuing medical education programs, deliver lectures, take inpatient consult call coverage as well as attend and participate in (department) Grand Rounds.

Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.

Required Qualifications: MD (or foreign equivalent) board certified/eligible in Dermatology, NYS License (or eligible).

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Academic and Clinical Programs, Teaching experience, Publications.

Special Notes:Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine.
