Minimum Requirements
National Certification through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf and a minimum of three years' experience working as a professional sign language interpreter.
These positions are located on the Catonsville and Essex campuses

Class Specific Essential Duties
- Serve as designated interpreter to full-time deaf faculty.
- Interpret at annual college events.
- Interpret for college courses taught by deaf faculty.
- Interpret for deaf faculty at committee meetings.
- Interpret for deaf faculty at ad-hoc meetings.
- Keep track of all hours and schedule.
- Team effectively with an agency interpreter when needed.

Supplemental (Retirement Annuities) 403(b) and 457(b)
- Tax-sheltered annuities – 403(b). Payroll salary reduction
authorization is needed. The form is available on SharePoint
Forms/Human Resources Forms.
The 403(b) supplemental retirement plan is available to all CCBC employees (Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees).
