Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE) works across the collegiate University to build meaningful relationships with alumni and donors that support Oxford’s academic priorities, research and student opportunities. Working in partnership with colleagues across the University, the Team helps to secure support for research, teaching and student opportunity.
The Donor Relations, Stewardship and Fundraising Support team plays a key role in enabling donor engagement activity across the University, ensuring high standards of stewardship, coordination and supporter care.
About the Role
As Development Coordinator for Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM), you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of fundraising and donor engagement activity, working principally in support of the GLAM fundraising team. You will provide reliable, well-organised administrative and coordination support that enables colleagues to focus on building and sustaining relationships with donors.
Working at the heart of a professional fundraising environment, you will help maintain high-quality data, support effective use of CRM systems, and ensure that donor interactions, gifts and stewardship activity are accurately recorded and followed through. Your work will directly contribute to the integrity and effectiveness of fundraising operations across DAE.
You will also support the delivery of donor meetings, visits and events, helping to coordinate logistics, prepare materials and ensure timely follow-up. This is a varied and collaborative role, offering exposure to a wide range of fundraising activities and stakeholders, and the opportunity to continuously develop your skills in a high-performing, purpose-driven environment.
About You
You will bring:
- Experience in administration, project coordination, fundraising support, stakeholder support or a similar role
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate and well-presented correspondence and other written materials.
- Experience of maintaining accurate records and working with databases or CRM systems, including routine data entry, reporting or queries.
- Ability to build effective working relationships, handle confidential information appropriately, and use sound judgement when following established processes.

£32,108 to £37,338 per annum with possible extension to £40,514 including an Oxford University Weighting of £1,730 per year (pro rata). Grade 5
