Overview

Programme Structure

Structure:

The doctoral study programme comprises a thesis written under supervision that makes an original contribution to the field on a topic selected in consultation with the Department
A doctoral defence (of the proposal and the thesis) is required in accordance with the regulations of the Faculty of Humanities. An article ready for publication on the thesis content is also required.

General requirements

For admission to a doctoral programme, applicants must have successfully completed a relevant master programme in the same or relevant field of study or discipline.
Students applying for Doctoral degree studies in general need to have obtained their previous relevant degree with an average mark of at least 65% or equivalent.
