Job Summary:
The Developmental Football Coach program is designed to provide aspiring coaches with comprehensive, hands-on experience in a Division I football environment. Participants will support the Ole Miss Football coaching staff in all phases of the program, including game planning, practice preparation, data analysis, and recruiting, while engaging in a structured professional development curriculum.
Job Description:
This is a developmental, term-limited role intended to prepare the coach for higher-level or on-field coaching positions within Division I football.
Job Responsibilities:
- Breakdown: Aid in the preparation of video cut-ups, scouting reports, and drawings and playbooks for coaches.
- Opponent Advance: Aid in upcoming opponents' film to identify tendencies, formations, and weaknesses.
- Self-Scouting: Periodic breakdown of own film to identify potential advantages, weaknesses, and performance trends.
- Data Analysis: Create reports, graphs and charts and statistical profiles to inform strategy.
- Practice/Game Support: Assist with practice planning and in-game logistics, including charting, organization, game strategy, and verbal communication with coaching staff.
- Recruiting: Assist with talent evaluation and recruiting research.
