About the role
This post will oversee the operational launch of new programmes within King’s Digital’s portfolio of online programmes.
They will ensure the optimum setup for marketing, recruitment, and admissions for new online programmes, in liaison with key stakeholders and delivery partners.
They will work in collaboration with both academic and professional services staff across the university to ensure a world-class online distance learner student experience.
They will manage the King’s Digital Education Operations launch team including student ambassadors.
This is a full time post, and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Agile/project management qualification or equivalent experience working and communicating with multi-disciplinary teams in a complex organisation.
- Authoritative knowledge of project management practices, processes and tools.
- Excellent IT, administration, numeracy and literacy skills
- Proven ability to establish and maintain good relations with colleagues and with external contacts while exercising a high degree of discretion, tact, diplomacy, and determination. The postholder must be able to gain credibility with colleagues at all levels and win confidence in a variety of settings and situations.
- Ability to contribute to decision-making and to take informed and reasoned decisions taking into account complex and sometimes incompatible information, needs and views.
- Proven ability to use initiative and respond positively to situations arising at short notice
- Demonstrable ability to assess risk, resolve issues, consider the implications of decisions and to solve problems.
Desirable criteria
- Awareness and understanding of national HE polices and current issues facing students in the field of online distance learning
- Experience of team management
