"Digital Services Librarian"

West Shore Community College (WSCC) seeks candidates for a Digital Services Librarian position to assist the Director of Library Services with managing the Integrated Library System (ILS) and helping students with research in online library databases. This position will also help support all library services, e.g., the daily operations of the library circulation desk, computer lab area, and the study room reservation system.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Catalog and process library materials, and maintain ILS.
• Aid students in their research using library database material.
• Assist with library services, daily operations of circulation desk, and library instruction as needed.
• Scan and organize archive materials and maintain digital archives.

Required Education/Experience

Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution. A relevant combination of education, training, and professional experience may be considered in lieu of the specific degree requirement. Prior job-related experience directly related to position responsibilities.

Compensation

Salary starting at or above $47,913, commensurate with skills/experience.
