The Opportunity
The Centre for Support and Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CSALT) plays a central role in improving student success, building institutional capability, and advancing scholarly, evidence-based learning and teaching practice at UniSC. Working in close partnership with academic and professional areas, CSALT supports curriculum design, blended and online learning, learning spaces, academic integrity, professional learning, and the strategic use of educational technologies. A key focus of CSALT’s current work is enabling the University’s PACE (Performance, Achievement, Curriculum, Experience) Learning and Teaching Model, a major institutional reform that reimagines curriculum design, delivery, and the student experience.
As the Digital Transformation Lead, you will provide specialist leadership to support the digital enablement of PACE, ensuring educational technologies are effectively integrated across program and course design. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Educational Technologies and Innovation, you will work across multidisciplinary teams to lead discovery, evaluation, and implementation of technology-enabled learning solutions. This is a senior, influential role requiring strong expertise in educational technologies, pedagogy, and change leadership, with the opportunity to shape sustainable digital practices that transition from project delivery into business as usual across the University.

You will
- lead the discovery, evaluation, procurement, and implementation of educational technologies that support PACE-aligned curriculum, assessment, and learner experience design;
- provide expert advice and leadership on the pedagogical, technical, and operational implications of technology adoption, influencing decision-making across academic and professional stakeholders;
- collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver technology-enabled learning solutions, contributing to change management, professional development, and stakeholder engagement; and
- evaluate, report on, and continuously improve the effectiveness and impact of digital learning technologies, supporting the transition of PACE deliverables into sustainable operations.
About you
You are an experienced digital transformation professional with deep expertise in educational technologies and technology-enabled learning design within higher education. You are confident leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, navigating governance and compliance requirements, and influencing diverse stakeholders. You bring a strong understanding of pedagogy, a strategic mindset, and a collaborative, values-driven approach to delivering meaningful and sustainable digital change.
You will possess:
- postgraduate qualifications, or progress toward postgraduate qualifications, with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education;
- demonstrated expertise in educational technologies and their application to curriculum design, assessment, and digital learning environments;
- proven experience leading complex digital transformation and change initiatives involving multiple stakeholders;
- strong knowledge of higher education governance, including procurement, privacy, cyber security, and IT compliance; and
- excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to evaluate and articulate the impact of digital learning solutions.
