About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Trials & Community Studies Lead to join Oxford Cancer, a city-wide research initiative and partnership between Oxford University, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, Thames Valley Cancer Alliance, and the Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group. This post is responsible for managing the delivery of Oxford Cancer’s cutting-edge portfolio cancer studies and trials which seek to utilise advanced information systems technologies to streamline research participation and study all those effected by cancer in their communities.

You will lead the oversight and management of a portfolio of digital trials, including the implementation of operational plans required for cohesive management of multiple projects. You will act as ambassador for the widespread uptake of digital trials through participation in national committees, events and patient groups. You will work closely with PIs, providing significant input into the design of digital trials included in the portfolio, ensuring study design will enable scientifically valuable study outcomes to be met in realistic timeframes and within budget.

Experience of clinical study management in the oncology setting is desirable.
