Responsibilities:

The Director-Budget and Financial Reporting leads the College’s budgeting processes, financial accounting, and reporting functions. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the College’s operating and capital budgets, and preparation of accurate, timely, and transparent financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards, state and federal regulations, and Board of Trustees policies. The Director collaborates with senior leadership, academic and administrative units, and external stakeholders to support effective financial planning, resource allocation, and decision-making aligned with the College’s mission and strategic goals. This position is exempt with regard to FLSA.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent course work is required. Minimum of three years of accounting experience is required as well as experience in, and thorough knowledge of, preparing or auditing financial statements. Must also have experience with, and application of, financial accounting standards. Must possess excellent analytical, problem solving, and attention to detail skills. The successful candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and must have a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and interact collaboratively with both internal and external constituents. Must be able to process confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
