Director - Business Development (UK – Remote)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Director - Business Development to grow our presence in the UK market. This role focuses on selling Edified’s consulting and benchmarking services to higher education institutions, helping them achieve excellence through data-driven insights and strategic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage potential clients within the UK education sector
• Visit prospective clients on campus, at events or virtually to develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers at universities and colleges
• Sell Edified’s benchmarking and consulting products to prospective and current clients
• Make appointments for Edified’s Partners and Senior Consultants to sell high level consulting services
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals through our CRM
• Report progress to target to Edified’s UK Country Director and Partners
• Collaborate with the global team to refine sales strategies and market positioning

What We’re Looking For:

• Ideally minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or partnership development in the education sector
• Strong understanding of higher education context, challenges and trends
• Excellent communication skills and a track record in business development and promoting positive and productive client relationships
• Self-motivated and able to work independently from home
• Existing networks within the UK higher education sector
• Someone who demonstrates commitment to our values, our collaborative working style and our positivity

Remuneration:

The package will consist of a base retainer along with a generous incentive package. We expect on target earnings (OTE) to be: £80,000 to £100,000
