Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 209.
Job Summary
The Director will be responsible for coordination of program education programs for children ages 2-12 for the Early Learning Center. The Center Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning licensing and National Accreditations, planning, implementing and supervising all child care programs and assessing and maintain the fiscal and program needs of the center. This position is funded through Title III sponsored funds. Continuation of employment is based upon the availability of funds.

Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day operation of the Early Learning Center, ensuring that employees work is in compliance with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning licensing requirements and the guidelines established by NAEYC.
- Supervises work of teaching staff, office staff, support staff and work-study students.
- Provides customer service, including information pertaining to organizational procedures and policies, rules, policies and regulations, and standards of care.
- Serves as Pre-K Director and Coordinator. Coordinates Work-Study program and students.
- Plans, oversees, and maintains yearly budgets and parent tuition accounts for the Early Learning Center.
- Approves time in One USG for all staff and student workers.
- Reviews state policies and implements changes as necessary.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education.
Experience as a classroom teacher of children ages 2-12 years old.
Knowledge of state licensing regulations and standards as well as NAEYC accreditation requirements.
At least 5 years' experience in directing an early childhood program.
Preferred Qualifications
Administrative experience and experience in staff development and parent education.
