Director, Enterprise Applications Support Services
Position Overview
Starting Salary Range is $85,841.60 - $90,220. The initial salary offer is commensurate with education and related work experience.
The Director of Enterprise Applications Support Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the College's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and auxiliary enterprise applications. This role is responsible for ensuring enterprise systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with institutional goals while supporting efficient, data-informed operations across academic and administrative units.
The Director leads application support teams, drives system optimization and innovation, and partners with campus stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of services delivered to students, faculty, and staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle/PeopleSoft, Workday) and auxiliary systems, including Blackboard Ultra LMS.
- Supervise application support staff, including DBAs and Programmer Analysts, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Manage ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Partner with academic and administrative departments to align technology solutions with business needs.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and resource planning.
- Provide regular status reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, CIS, Business Administration, or related field.
- Five to ten (5-10) years of progressive IT experience, including at least five (5) years in a management role.
- Experience managing ERP systems and enterprise applications.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, staff development, project management, and analytical skills.
- Collaborative, service-oriented leader dedicated to operational excellence and continuous improvement to support student success.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Master's (or higher) degree.
- Experience managing Oracle/PeopleSoft and/or Workday systems.
- Experience in a higher education setting.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Familiarity with IT service management best practices.
