DIRECTOR-FISCAL AFFAIRS

Provides strategic financial leadership for the Facilities Department, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal operations to support campus infrastructure, maintenance, and capital projects. Ensures compliance with university policies and state/federal regulations while optimizing resource allocation for operational efficiency.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Directs the financial affairs of a large, complex department, school or of multiple departments reporting to a vice president/provost.
- Represents and speaks on behalf of the dean, chairman or vice president/provost with regard to all financial matters.
- Responsible for financial analysis/forecasting/budgeting, enforcement, space and facilities planning, and grants administration.
- Establishes financial systems for department(s).
- May be involved in programmatic aspects of department(s).
- Directs staff as necessary to assure completion of projects and proper functioning of business and program operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary Range
This position is assigned to Wage Grade W. G410 with a full Compensation-approved range of $94,375.00- $153,355.00 annually (midpoint $122,685).
Final offers will be made within this grade range based on the candidate's qualifications, internal equity, and the department's budgeted amount for the role. Applicants whose stated salary expectations fall outside the posted grade range may not be considered.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or a related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
