The National Authority for Research is organising a competition for the position of Director General at the National Institute for Chemical-Pharmaceutical Research and Development - ICCF Bucharest, in accordance with the provisions of Government Decision No. 743/2026 approving the Competition Methodology for the position of Director General at national research and development institutes, published in Official Gazette No. 804 of 22 September 2026, Part I.

The National Institute for Chemical-Pharmaceutical Research and Development - ICCF Bucharest is headquartered in Bucharest, 112 Calea Vitan, Sector 3.

The field/scope of activity consists of fundamental and applied research, technological development, and small-scale production of medicinal products for human and veterinary use, with a view to addressing requirements of national and public interest in the chemical-pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical fields, in accordance with the provisions of Government Decision No. 1314/1996 on the establishment of the National Institute for Chemical-Pharmaceutical Research and Development - ICCF Bucharest, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, No. 336 of 11 December 1996, as subsequently amended and supplemented.

Candidates must cumulatively meet the conditions for participation in the competition provided for in Article 17^2 para. (1) of Law No. 183/2024 on the status of research, development and innovation personnel, as subsequently amended and supplemented.

The documents required for registration in the competition are those provided for in Article 9 of the Annex to Government Decision No. 743/2026 approving the Competition Methodology for the position of Director General at national research and development institutes.
