Position Summary
Are you a finance and budget professional with experience in the field of higher education? Join the Ramily! Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) is seeking a Director of Budget, Financial Planning, and Shared Services. This office is the touchpoint through our campus community. Budget, Financial Planning, and shared services may not wear capes, but we are financial superheroes, balancing multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasting the future (without a crystal ball), and somehow making spreadsheets look like works of art. They translate complex numbers into clear strategy, keep the lights on, and the water running (literally), and ensure every dollar is working as hard as our faculty and staff. While others see rows and columns, they see opportunity, sustainability, and a well-balanced bottom line. Quietly brilliant and just a little obsessed with Excel, they keep the University running smoothly one perfectly reconciled account at a time.
