Coordinates the development and administration of the College budget, overseeing the technical implementation of budget processes and the analysis, allocation, and stewardship of institutional resources. Recommends and implements enhancements to budget development, monitoring, analysis, and resource allocation practices. Provides leadership and guidance in the preparation, management, and oversight of the College's annual operating budget. Analyzes, interprets, and presents financial and operational data to support budget development and decision-making, including revenue and expenditure projections, cost allocations, enrollment trends, and workforce planning data. Develops, implements, and manages the College's annual budget calendar and related planning timelines. Collaborates with department administrators to clarify budget data, implement funding requests, resolve issues, and ensure effective planning and resource utilization. Coordinates with Human Resources and other departments to maintain, analyze, and update full-time position records, salary projections, and benefit rates to ensure accurate personnel budgeting and forecasting. Recommends, develops, and implements improvements to budget systems, processes, forms, and reporting tools. Formulates and administers budget-related policies and procedures as appropriate. Coordinates institution-wide financial processes, including budget submissions, resource allocation methodologies, funding models, and related fiscal planning activities. Assists in coordinating fiscal year-end closing activities and ensures effective integration of year-end results into budget planning and development. Participates in the annual audit as appropriate. Evaluates and recommends improvements to Business Office policies, procedures, and operational practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. Plans for departmental staffing, succession planning, workforce development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. Recruits, supervises, evaluates, disciplines, mentors, and develops staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned in support of departmental and institutional objectives. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business. Master's degree preferred.
