Director of Dental Hygiene
JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Dental Hygiene is a full-time, benefited position responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and continuous improvement of the college’s Dental Hygiene program. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum, enhancing student success, and ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and institutional goals.
Principal Responsibilities and Results
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Program Oversight: Enhances program development and oversight by designing, implementing, and continually assessing the program’s resources and curricula to align with external accreditor’s expectations, institutional goals, and student learning objectives.
- Curriculum and Instruction: The primary responsibility of all faculty is instruction. Teaching approximately 6 but no more than 9 of the contracted annual workload hours.
- Resource Management: Ensure the program operates efficiently and effectively by utilizing assigned resources in support of the strategic management of the program.
- Collaboration: Cultivate engagement and partnerships by establishing collaborative initiatives, building relationships with regional organizations and employers.
