Director of Enrollment Reporting & Analytics
Essential Functions
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Design, execute, and maintain customized reports tailored to the needs of stakeholders using Enrollment Management’s relational database Slate and other reporting and analytics platforms such as Argos, SPSS, Tableau, Python etc.
- Utilize tools such as Tableau and Excel to develop dashboards, tables, and visualizations of data to support decision making and reporting of KPIs.
- Draw on external data sources to enhance enrollment intelligence and contextualize Jefferson’s data.
- Review reports for accuracy, with a high-level attention to detail.
- Clean, transform, and integrate data as required to deliver information.
- Produce high level analyses, present key findings and insights, and communicate conclusions and recommendations both verbally and in writing.
- Develop and implement a plan for report maintenance, improvement, and enhancement.
- Monitor the workflow of reports and information requests; delegate tasks as appropriate reviewing work to ensure accuracy.
- Provide leadership and feedback regarding data reporting and analysis agenda for Enrollment Management.
- Interface with key stakeholders and external strategy partners to optimize contracted services.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required)
- In-depth of knowledge and experience using institutional platforms and reporting tools including Slate, Banner, Tableau, Excel, SPSS, Python.
- Demonstrated experience querying, processing, transforming, analyzing and reporting on large data sets.
- Knowledge of enrollment management functions, trends, challenges, business processes, and KPIs.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Seven years of relevant experience in higher education enrollment management and/or an analytics field. Experience in reporting, data analysis, statistics required.
