Develop, implement, and assess comprehensive enrollment
strategies for domestic, international, and online graduate
students and international undergraduate students, aligned with
institutional enrollment goals and academic priorities.
Oversee graduate and international undergraduate admissions
operations, policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure accurate,
timely, consistent, and student-centered application review and
decision processes.
Establish and monitor enrollment goals, key performance
indicators, conversion and yield rates, forecasts, and other
measures of recruitment and admissions effectiveness; use data,
market research, and enrollment trends to inform strategy and
resource allocation.
Lead recruitment and yield initiatives across master's,
doctoral, online, and international populations, including
recruitment travel, events, webinars, campus visits, fellowship
recruitment, and prospective and admitted student engagement.
Build strong partnerships with graduate program coordinators,
department chairs, faculty, college leadership, and other academic
stakeholders to establish enrollment priorities, develop
program-specific recruitment strategies, and support applicant
conversion and enrollment.
Lead the development and continuous improvement of admissions
technology, CRM workflows, communications, reporting, automation,
and business processes in partnership with systems and operations
staff.
Identify and develop enrollment opportunities through
university partnerships, pathway and collaborative academic
programs, sponsored student programs, recruitment organizations,
and other domestic and international partnerships.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications and academic
programs to develop targeted, multichannel recruitment and yield
campaigns and ensure websites, communications, and recruitment
materials effectively support enrollment goals.
Manage the Office of Graduate and International Admissions
budget, including recruitment investments, travel, events,
marketing, professional development, and other operational
expenditures; evaluate effectiveness and return on investment.
Advise Graduate School and university leadership on graduate
enrollment trends, recruitment opportunities, admissions policies,
operational challenges, and emerging issues affecting
enrollment.
Represent Missouri S&T and the Graduate School at
recruitment events, conferences, partner institutions, and other
external engagements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Shift
Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm; Possibility of some weekend and evening
work
Minimum Qualifications
A master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience and at least 7 years of experience from which comparable
knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in
graduate admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, or a
related higher education field, including at least three years of
experience supervising and developing professional staff.
- Demonstrated success developing, implementing, and assessing
data-informed recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and yield
strategies for multiple student populations and delivery
modalities.
- Experience managing admissions operations, policies, processes,
technology, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze enrollment data, identify
trends, develop forecasts, and translate findings into actionable
strategies.
- Experience developing recruitment campaigns, partnerships, and
programs that contribute to institutional enrollment goals.
- Understanding of graduate education and the recruitment and
enrollment needs of master's, doctoral, online, and international
students.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional
initiatives and build effective relationships with faculty,
academic leadership, university administrators, staff, students,
and external partners.
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation,
organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated cultural competency, sound judgment, diplomacy,
and ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex higher
education environment.
- Experience with CRM and student information systems, preferably
Slate and PeopleSoft, and proficiency with Microsoft
Office.
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established
as $81,744-$98,450 annually.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not
limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education,
skills, and experience, as well as organizational
requirements.
