The College of the Holy Cross seeks an experienced, dynamic, and results-oriented Director of Leadership Annual Giving to lead and execute a strategic leadership annual giving program that raises $12M+ annually in unrestricted giving for the College. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Individual Giving, the Director will oversee and implement the Leadership Annual Giving program's strategic initiatives to expand the donor pipeline and manage 4-5 frontline fundraisers responsible for donors giving $2,500 - $100,000 annually. This role includes managing a portfolio of 75-100 high-capacity prospects.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and execute the strategic vision and operating plan for leadership annual giving, aligning with broader institutional goals.
- Oversee strategies, track progress, and ensure fundraising targets are met.
- Supervise and mentor a team of fundraisers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Cultivate relationships with donors and lead solicitations for unrestricted gifts.
- Oversee the President's Council and other leadership giving strategies.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders and the Planned Giving team.
- Monitor fundraising progress using data analytics and report to senior leadership.
- Attend events, with regular travel and occasional night/weekend work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least five years in annual giving fundraising, preferably in education.
- Commitment to the College's mission and Jesuit Catholic traditions.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in frontline fundraising and managing a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundraising software.

Additional Information
This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $125,000 to $137,000. Benefits include a 10% College contribution to a 403(b) plan, potential hybrid work, tuition benefits, wellness programs, and generous paid time off. The College is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
