Director of Student Relations
The Director of Student Relations provides leadership for student support, behavioral intervention, and retention initiatives at Eastern Oregon University. This position plays a key role in advancing student success by coordinating institutional responses to student concerns, crises, grievance matters, and behavioral interventions while developing proactive strategies that support student persistence and well-being.
The Director leads retention-focused outreach systems and collaborates with campus partners to identify and address barriers to student success. The position oversees the Behavioral Assessment Team (BAT), manages student concern reports and grievance processes, and supports campus safety and compliance initiatives. This role supervises the Assistant Director of Student Relations/Title IX Coordinator and the Health & Wellness Navigator and works closely with departments across campus-including Advising, Admissions, Residence Life, Academic Affairs, and Financial Aid-to ensure coordinated student support services that promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive campus environment.
