Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership
- Maintain an active outpatient pediatric practice.
- Serve as a clinical role model and resource for physicians and
staff.
- Champion evidence-based care and quality outcomes.
Administrative Leadership
- Provide day-to-day oversight of division operations.
- Monitor clinical productivity, access, patient satisfaction,
and quality metrics.
- Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic
planning.
- Address operational challenges and implement process
improvements.
Team Development
- Mentor and support pediatric providers.
- Conduct performance reviews and professional development
discussions.
- Foster collaboration among providers, nursing, and support
staff.
- Recruit and retain high-performing physicians.
Qualifications:
Required
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Pediatrics.
- Eligible for or currently holding unrestricted state medical
licensure.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical pediatric experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a medical practice,
division, department, or service line.
Preferred
- Previous experience leading physicians or multidisciplinary
teams.
- Experience with quality improvement, practice operations, and
physician engagement initiatives.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and change-management
skills.
