At the University of Göttingen -Public Law Foundation-, Graduiertenkolleg Fourieranalysis und Spektraltheorie, there is a position as

PhD candidate/Doctoral researcher (all genders welcome)
Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L/75%

to be filled. Starting date is 4/1/2026. The position is limited for three years.

A later starting date, though no later than 01.10.2026, is possible upon agreement. The salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale (TV-L 13), 75 % of a full position correspond to 29,85 working hours per week.

This position is advertised as part of the Research Training Group 2491 "Fourier Analysis and Spectral Theory" at the Mathematical Institute at the Georg-August University of Göttingen.

Your profile

  • Master degree in mathematics or equivalent
  • Research focus with an analytical profile in number theory and/or additive combinatorics
  • Language proficiency in English or German
