Duties
Part-time, non-credit Continuing Education instructor
Moraine Valley Community College – Community and Continuing Education is seeking an experienced Dog Grooming Instructor to teach non-credit courses for continuing learners. The instructor will provide hands-on instruction in grooming techniques, breed-specific styling, safety, sanitation, equipment use, and customer service while creating an engaging learning environment.
Education/Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional dog grooming experience.
- Must own a grooming facility for hands on learning with appropriate licensure/insurance.
- Demonstrated expertise in grooming techniques and animal handling.
- Previous teaching, training, coaching, or instructional experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop lesson plans and provide hands-on demonstrations.

Experience in the classroom or teaching setting, ability to teach diverse learners in the topic.

Position Status: Part Time Temporary
Hours: Evening and/or weekend classes based on enrollment and program needs. Instructors can create their own schedule
Salary/Wage: $40–$60 per hour
