Domestic Recruitment Advisor

Mō te tūka | The role
Are you a great people person with the ability to absorb product knowledge quickly? Do you know how to build relationships and rapport quickly?
Based in our Domestic Recruitment Team, this role plays a key part in engaging and supporting prospective students as they consider their study options at Lincoln. You’ll help drive enquiries, applications, enrolments and conversion by delivering meaningful recruitment initiatives and providing accurate, persuasive advice that supports informed decision-making for undergraduate and postgraduate prospective students.
You’ll also build strong relationships with schools, families, industry and internal stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and positive recruitment experience for every prospective student.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Coordinate recruitment initiatives to boost applications, conversions, and enrolments.
- Deliver up-to-date academic and career information to support student decision-making.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to drive recruitment outcomes.
- Contribute to on and off‑campus recruitment events and outreach activities
Mahi & Wāhi / Utu | Work pattern, location & salary
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus (1FTE). The starting salary is set at $70,000 - $79,000 per annum. You will need to be flexible to work outside agreed hours on the odd occasion and there may be a small amount of travel required (with notice).
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
You will bring:
- At least two years’ experience in administration, recruitment, sales or advisory roles in the education sector (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Office365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Initiative, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to stay effective under pressure
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach to providing excellent customer service
- Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to Manaakitaka and Lincoln University values.
