Primary Purpose of the Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to implement Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and Ready Rosie to children enrolled in NC Pre-K. The prospective employee must enroll in the Early Educator Support Unit under the Division of Child Development and Early Education. The prospective employee will be fully responsible for planning a program that will enrich the physical, social, and emotional needs of children enrolled in NC Pre-K.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a teaching license OR
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and able to obtain a teaching license within one year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Birth to Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education, with a teaching license. One year of childcare experience.
