Early Childhood/Infant-Child Mental Health Instructors - Adjunct
We are looking for adjunct instructors to teach in the new Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood/ Infant-Child Mental Health; course assignment to be based on instructor expertise and available courses. Courses and topics covered in the BAS program include trauma-informed care, challenging behavior, special needs, assessment and intervention, and reflective supervision.

Green River College's student body is made up of approximately 41% Academic Transfer students, 34% Professional-Technical students, 15% Adult Basic Education student, and 3% Applied Bachelor degrees. Green River College has four campuses, including the main campus in Auburn, Washington, with satellite campuses in Kent, downtown Auburn, and Enumclaw. Green River programs serve high school graduates, Running Start students (dual enrollment in local high schools and the college), those seeking retraining for the workforce, international students, students learning English, and Continuing Education students. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or an education-related field
- Experience/specialization in infant/child mental health
- Experience in Early Childhood Education settings
- Experience teaching adults
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Experience teaching at the college level
