PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT: To collaborate in the tasks of the research project/agreement indicated above.
PLACE AND WORKING HOURS: Faculty of Law, Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The ECRIM Research Group of the University of A Coruña (ecrim.es) participates as a partner in the European project IPAS-EU (Implementing Probation and Alternatives to Detention in the EU; reference: 101251663), funded under the JUST-2025-JCOO call of the European Union’s Justice Programme. The project, coordinated jointly with the University of Turin, the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Université Catholique de Lyon, has a duration of 24 months, from 15 January 2026 to 14 January 2028, with a total budget of €300,982.28, of which €58,674.46 corresponds to the UDC as a project partner.
Participation in this European project, within the framework of a highly competitive call for proposals, once again places the team among the UDC’s leading research groups in the fields of law and criminology and confirms its international profile, building on its track record in previous projects and competitively awarded funding.
However, the implementation and management of a project funded by the European Union entails specific administrative and financial requirements. This requires particular attention, among other matters, to the budgetary and financial management of the project, the processing of contracts and procurements required for its implementation, and support in preparing the financial reports required by the funding agency, as well as administrative support for project implementation activities.
In summary, the implementation of the IPAS-EU project requires the strengthening of the economic and administrative management activities of the ECRIM Research Group. In this context, the Economic Management Officer to be recruited will provide support in the budgetary and financial management of the project, support in the processing of contracts and IRS, support in the preparation of financial reports, and logistical and administrative support for the implementation of the various research activities.
Duration
The contract will have a duration of 6 months, from 01/11/2026 to 30/04/2027.
