Job Description Summary

The Santa Fe College Little School provides early learning experiences and care for children ages 1-5 years. The Little School is a Teacher Training Site for Early Childhood Education students, as well as a research and observation site for students in other fields of study who are learning to work effectively with young children.

Job Description

The Little School is seeking Educational Aides with a positive attitude, welcoming body language, enthusiasm for helping children learn, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide tender loving care and educational experiences for children of a designated age between 1-5 years.
• Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible and professional engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Director, Little School

Qualifications

Required: The Educational Aide must be a currently enrolled Santa Fe College student, in good academic and behavioral standing, taking six (6) or more credit hours. A criminal background check will be conducted.

Preferred: Early Childhood Education major OR experience working in an Early Learning Center with children ages 1-5 years.
