As an Educational Designer in the WCLA, you will collaborate with faculty members to develop innovative curriculum and assessments across undergraduate and graduate programmes in business and economics. You'll have the opportunity to integrate evidence-based practice with cutting-edge technology, supporting the Faculty's aspiration to deliver blended, online, and interactive learning experiences. This role allows you to enhance student outcomes while expanding your expertise in educational design.
- Design Innovative Learning Resources: Collaborate with teaching staff to create high-quality learning assets, including video and online content.
- Support Teaching Development: Conduct professional development workshops to enhance teaching and assessment in blended learning environments.
- Enhance Learning Management Systems: Lead support efforts to improve the use of LMS for better student experiences.
- Evaluate and Develop Pedagogical Tools: Assess and develop online pedagogies and resources to meet diverse learning requirements.
You will bring expertise in educational design, with a passion for creating inclusive, student-centred learning experiences in higher education, and a collaborative approach to support faculty members in business and economics.
- Possess a tertiary qualification in educational design or relevant experience in learning and assessment design.
- Have proven skills in instructional design and developing inclusive learning resources.
- Be experienced in business education pedagogy, including simulations and online learning.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Be willing to undertake training in web-based teaching technologies.
