Assist with planning and executing programs/projects

Coordinates a variety of standard assignments and responsibilities

Make recommendations for improvement/efficiency, resourcing, supply usage, equipment purchases, etc.

Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems regarding programs/projects to ensure safety and compliance

Works with multiple entities to ensure effective communication with internal and external partners, e.i. city partners, faculty, university and local police, dining, reservations, facilities

Tracks and compiles data to report to leadership for larger reports, i.e. participation survey data,

Works with financial staff to ensure accuracy of contracts and invoices

Schedule Morning Mayors, work with Kent Bagnell with Results Radio to provide campus updates, work with the Associate director to determine who to schedule for morning mayors

Schedule extension meetings and send calendar invites for meetings

Work on community connect calendar and update regularly

Organize and develop schedules for the state fair (both internal and external to the department)

Schedule hotel reservations for state fair participants

Contact state fair grounds for water barrels, electricity, etc.

Schedule additional activities for the state fair

Schedule after-action meetings for state fair briefing (follow up and feedback)

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 months of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to interface with a wide range of work styles
• Experience with working with multiple software systems and processes
  

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $17.05-$23.37 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
