We are seeking applicants with a proven track record of research excellence with robust extramural funding, who are addressing critical questions with innovative and bold approaches. Areas of interest include but are not limited to work using animal models, organoids/assembloids, human neuropathological materials, novel disease biomarkers and aging clocks, and computational, cognitive, or systems neuroscience. This recruitment is part of a strategic effort to develop an interdisciplinary Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) at Einstein-Montefiore that spans basic discovery through early detection, risk stratification, and translational implementation across the lifespan.

Einstein boasts a strong research faculty and enjoys an exceptionally collegial and collaborative environment. The Departments of Neurology and Neuroscience have a 50-year history of close collaborations in conducting paradigm-shifting and cutting-edge research and educational initiatives in diverse areas of brain and the biomedical sciences through a vibrant and visionary academic culture shaped by our inaugural departmental chairs.
