Responsibilities:
Teach electrical linework curriculum, including lecture, labs. Instructor is responsible for all activities related to teaching and learning including, but not limited to: instructional planning, curriculum development, student evaluation and records, classroom/climate preparation and management, interpersonal relations, promote safety in all aspects of program activities, participate in professional development experiences, work as an effective team member of the department, maintenance of professional skills and credentials, and participate on college. Assignment will start on August 19, 2026.
Salary Range: $44,144 – $96,906 annually. Salary placement is determined on the basis of academic credentials and professional experience and is set in accordance with the 2024 - 2025 MSCF Contract and is conducted by the Minnesota State System Office. Initial salary placement for new Minnesota State College faculty falls between $44,144 and $73,690, depending on academic credentials and years of creditable professional experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement
Diploma in an electrical linework program.
Occupational Experience Requirement
Four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience in electrical linework.
Recency Requirement
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.

- Experience with learning communities or team teaching
- Experience in curriculum development
- Experience incorporating technology into curriculum delivery, including web enhanced and online instruction
- Experience developing and using student centered, active and experiential learning strategies
- Experience integrating cross cultural and interdisciplinary perspectives in course instruction
- Experience assessing student academic achievement of campus wide and classroom learning outcomes
- Experience with accelerated adult learning
