Key Responsibilities:
- Installs various kinds of raceways, wiring, boxes, supports,
fastening devices, lighting fixtures, electrical panels,
receptacles, switches, fuse-holders, relays, HVAC controls, and
other devices.
- Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in
Aurora, Colorado at the Anschutz Medical Campus.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current, valid licensure as a journeyman electrician from the
Colorado Electrical Board.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with fire alarm systems
- Experience diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in existing
electrical systems.
- Experience providing training on ballast replacement and basic
electrical troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the ability to
establish rapport with persons of diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and
written
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize levels of assistance
needed
- Strong ability to work well and maintain a positive attitude
under pressure
- Knowledge of the electrical trade
- Mechanical ability
- Physical ability
- This position requires a State of Colorado Journeyman or
Masters Electrical License.
- Must be a resident of the State of Colorado at the time of

- Must possess and maintain a current, valid State of Colorado
Driver's License.
- Must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check,
motor vehicle checks and drug test.

- Must be willing and able to stand and walk on a constant basis,

- Must be willing and able to operate moving equipment and work
around machinery or moving equipment.
- Must be willing and able to work around noise/vibrations.
- Must be willing and able to work alone, above ground and in
small confined spaces.
- Must be willing and able to walk on uneven surfaces and climb
on scaffolds/ladders.

The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established as
$5,203 - $6,243 per month ( $62,436- $74,916 per year)
This position is eligible for overtime compensation.
The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
If you have prior state-classified service in the same class series as this position, your pay may be set at a higher amount per the state Step Pay Program implemented on July 1, 2024.
