Electrician I (Apprentice) or Electrician II (Journeyman)

Job Summary

Electrician I-Apprentice: Provide entry level skills in the installation, maintenance, remodeling, repair, operation and servicing of the University's electrical systems from 120 volts and including 480 volts.

Electrician II-Journeyman: The Electrician II provides journeyman level skills and expertise in the installation, maintenance, preventive maintenance, remodeling, repair, servicing, and operation of the University's electrical systems from 120 volts up to 480 volts.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Vocational Training or Apprenticeship
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician's License (depending on level)
