Employable Skills Training Facilitator
Position Purpose
The Employable Skills Training Facilitator's primary purpose is to oversee the development and implementation of OUCARES' Employment Skills Training program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, special education, human services, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Minimum 2 years' previous experience in an administrative position.
- Minimum 2 years' previous experience working with individuals with special needs.
- Must have basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and social media.
- Positive attitude, flexible and respectful towards individuals with special needs.
- Great attention-to-detail and understanding of the importance of confidentiality is essential.
- A sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently, with the ability to manage multiple projects. Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong communications skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in vocational rehabilitation, special education, human services, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with adults with special needs.
- Previous job coaching and/or job development experience a plus.
- Knowledge of vocational rehabilitation best practices.
- Positive attitude towards individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder at all levels.
